World Solidarity Day at ART is celebrated every day with donated meals

Today, August 31, is International Solidarity Day – an occasion for us to promote awareness of relevant social issues by working closely with local communities to promote health and improve people’s quality of life wherever possible.

ART’s commitment to social welfare

At ART, for two years now, we have been running a project to provide social support to people in need in the Trasimeno area that involves the Trasimeno Solidarity Odv Association and the Bove 2 Consortium, which provides catering. This is a synergy that has allowed ART to be at the forefront in the daily distribution of meals to those in need in our host territory, and for the people who most need our care and attention.

The collaboration between ART and the Consortium is now well-established, stemming from another project that culminated in obtaining the “know your meal” certification from the Ccpb:. This has made it possible to create added value not only within the company, thanks to the achievement of the high quality standards of meals provided, but also from an ethical and social point of view by donating daily to the elderly and the less well-off the meals that Anpas Pst Solidarity distributes free of charge in the local area, thanks to the valuable work of its volunteers.

A union of forces that allows ART to play an active role in social issues every day, helping and making better the local community in which we operate and grow.
