ART and Jojob: a sustainable vision for the future of mobility

In a rapidly changing world in which sustainability is at the center of many decisions, ART has for the past several years initiated an innovative collaboration with Jojob. The goal: to embrace sustainable mobility in order to stay one step ahead towards the future.

We would like to mention this partnership now as it coincides with European Mobility Week, emphasizing the importance of conscious and sustainable mobility for the health of our planet and people.

Jojob is not just a carpooling service, it is an employee transportation alternative that combines advanced technology, safety and a thorough commitment to reducing environmental impact. Certified as a B Corp, Jojob not only cares about the environment, but also ensures that its business model has a positive impact on society as a whole. Created with the goal of facilitating home-to-work commutes, Jojob consists of a mobile application: each user, after downloading the Jojob Real Time Carpooling app and registering, can connect with other colleagues and share a car on daily commutes.

ART’s choice to partner with Jojob is a sign of its commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Thanks to corporate carpooling, people have the opportunity to share the home-work route with both colleagues and employees of neighboring companies. A choice that from the beginning of 2023 up to now, has resulted in cleaner air with ART’s contribution, with more than 18 tons less CO2 emissions.

European Mobility Week is approaching, leading us to reflect on transportation modes and their implications not only for the environment but also for health. “Move Sustainable…and Healthy” is not just a slogan, but a call for concrete action.

While European Mobility Week promotes low- or zero-emission mobility, the alliance between ART and JojobRT is a concrete example of how companies can make a tangible contribution to this cause. After all, big revolutions start with small steps.
